Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tredsy iOS application and the website at tredsy.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or signing in with Threads, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

Tredsy is operated by the individual entrepreneur (Ukrainian: ФОП) Yaroslav Kira, registered in Ukraine, address: Lviv, Shevchenka St. 372. Contact: support@tredsy.com.

2. What the Service does

Tredsy lets you draft, schedule, and publish posts to your Threads account through the official Threads API. The Service is provided "as is" and depends on third-party platforms (Meta / Threads, Apple) which are outside our control.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in jurisdictions that require it).
• You must have a valid Threads account that you own.
• You must comply with the Threads Terms of Use and Apple's App Store policies while using Tredsy.

4. Your account

You sign in by connecting your Threads account through Meta's OAuth flow. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your Threads credentials.
• Everything that happens under your account.
• Promptly disconnecting Tredsy if your device is lost or stolen.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post content that violates the Threads Community Guidelines or any applicable law.
• Send spam, harass other users, or impersonate anyone.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Distribute malware, exploit security vulnerabilities, or attempt to access data belonging to other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
• Use the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure (for example, automated scripts, bulk uploads beyond ordinary use).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on the severity.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you post through Tredsy. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit that content for the sole purpose of delivering the Service to you (i.e. holding drafts, executing scheduled publishing, displaying history). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish. We do not pre-moderate posts. Once a post is on Threads, it is governed by Meta's terms and you should manage it through Threads directly.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled publishing depends on the Threads API; if the Threads API is down or rate-limits us, your post may be delayed or fail. We will retry automatically where reasonable and surface failures in the app.

8. Pricing and payment

Tredsy may be offered free of charge or as a paid service. If we introduce paid features, terms of payment, refunds, and trials will be presented to you in-app before any charge, and your continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from Settings → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We will give reasonable advance notice of a planned discontinuation where practical.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any post you schedule will be successfully delivered to Threads.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or EUR 50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you publish through the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be brought before the competent courts of Ukraine. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
